Try as best to cover the entire area of the disc specimen with double sided tape.

However, take note not to overlap tape as this could cause unnecessary gradient changes to the inclinometer reading during experiment.

Notice the exposed area between the disc and the middle of the discholder

Align the disc with respect to the centre of the discholder.

Make sure the disc is aligned as best to the center with all 4 quadrants of roughly equal area

Hang the ball specimen slightly above the surface of the disc specimen

Rotate the discholder in a clockwise manner

Complete 1 full round and ensure the course of rotation stays within surface area of disc specimen
