    • The disk holder is connected to the motor via a coupling between them. The disk counterface is supposed to be secured onto the disk holder and rotate in sync with it.

    • The disk counterface is secured onto the disk holder using four M4 screws

    • There may be misalignment between the holes on the disk and disk holder. It is possible to enlarge the holes on the disk holder to fit all four screws but using only two screws at opposite ends is sufficient to secure the disk onto the disk holder

    • There will be disk counterfaces which have faulty screw threads in them, making it impossible for a screw to be inserted properly. Since it would be impractical to soften the hardened disk and drilling new threads in them, using only two screws at opposite end is the only way left to secure the disk onto the disk holder

    • Insert the M4 screw into the aligned holes and tighten by hand

    • Using an Allen key, further tighten the screw.

    • Do not over-tighten the screws as it may result in the screw head being worn out. Simply ensure that the screw is hand-tight and do not apply excessive force on the allen key to tighten it.
